75% of Himalayan glacier ice will be lost by 2100

A new report claims that a rise of 3 degrees Celsius by 2100 will cause the loss of 75% of Himalayan glacier ice, putting at risk over 240 million people living by the mountain range. An assessment showed that Himalayan glaciers lost 65% more ice during the last decade than in previous decades.
