A cargo ship from the Zim company that carried hazardous chemicals caught fire off the coast of Canada, causing environmental pollution.
The fire was caused by 2 damaged containers apparently.
The ship that left South Korea for Vancouver contained over 50 tons of hazardous chemicals, some of which caught fire.
Special forces took control of the fire.
In addition, due to the severe weather at sea, about 40 containers containing toxic substances fell from the ship into the water – the Canadian Coast Guard has been updated and searches are being conducted for their site.
