Lead exposure caused a high IQ loss of half of the Americans

In the beginning of the century, lead was added to gasoline in the United States. Lead is neurotoxic that can invade human cells and damage them. A new study shows that kids that were exposed to lead from car exhaust lost a lot of IQ points and may be at risk for other health problems. Lead was taken out of gasoline in 1996.
