The frozen zoo in San Diego may provide hope fro dying species

A researcher in 1972 at the University of San Diego collected skin samples from rare and endangered animals. The collection moved to the San Diego Zoo and is now known as the frozen zoo. The frozen zoo is the largest cryobank with over 10,500 samples of 1,220 animal species, and may one day help revive dying species.
