E-Waste (electronic waste) is estimated at 57 billion tonnes yearly. Scientists warn after much research that mining the earth for metals to create new electronics is unsustainable, and instead, recycling of e-waste must grow. Elements like Gallium, Arsenic, Silver, Indium, Yttrium, and Tantalum could run out in the next century if we don’t change our ways.
