An Israeli company called SightBit developed an A.I., which with the help of data from surveillance cameras, can determine whether a person in the water is a child or an adult and whether he is facing a threat of drowning. If the A.I detect a threat, it sends an alert to the lifeguard. The A.I is now in testing on Ashdod’s beaches.
