Air pollution causes the death of 1,200 children a year in the EU

A new study done by the EEA found that the increasing air pollution is causing the premature death of 1,200 children under the age of 18 a year. Poor air quality causes dangerous diseases such as asthma, respiratory infections, allergies, and more. The report did not include major industrial countries like Russia, Ukraine, and the UK, suggesting the numbers might be much higher.
