Australia’s prime minister pledges 700 million dollars for protection of the Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s prime minister, Scott Morrison, announced the government will give a budget of 700 million dollars (1 billion Australian dollars) for the protection of the Great Barrier Reef. The money will help fight illegal fishing, help stop sewage spills and reef erosion. The money will also go to support small projects of reef revival and habitat conservation.
