Dementia signs could be detected 9 years before diagnosis

A new study shows brain impairment signs could be detected in patients with dementia as early as 9 years before diagnosis. Impairment in areas in the brain associated with number recall or problem-solving makes for early signs of dementia and other condition. This discovery may help future patients be diagnosed in an earlier stage and stall or even prevent these conditions.
