Global warming will pass the 1.5C threshold by 2027

Researchers say there is a 66% chance the global warming threshold of 1.5C will be crossed by 2027. Rising emissions are responsible for the quickening of the temperature rise. This will have impacts such as heatwaves, wildfires and more.
