More than a thousand species of palm trees are in danger of extinction

A study done with artificial intelligence gave data about the palm tree species that face the danger of extinction. The data suggests over 50% of palm tree species worldwide are under threat. A designated team prioritized regions in Southeast Asia, Pacific islands, and Caribbean islands for palm tree conservation.
