New discoveries on Mars’s crust

Mars was hit in 2021 by two asteroids causing a significant seismic event, which was studied by NASA. The asteroids’ impact created a massive crater that allowed the researchers to look into Mars’s crust. They discovered it is much denser than previously thought, which changes the theories of its creation, thickness, and composition.
