A research was done on the global food industry’s impact on pollution, mapping which countries have the biggest impact. The food industry was looked at from all aspects – growing the food, pesticides, watering, area, impact on biodiversity, and more. China, India, the United States, Brazil, and Pakistan are in charge of over 50% of the global pollution that derives from the food industry.
