Standford University got a 1.1 billion dollar donation from successful entrepreneur, John Doerr, to build a new faculty that will focus on climate change and sustainability. The faculty will have the traditional subjects such as planetary sciences, technology, energy, water, and food safety. It will also include a center for climate solution developements.
