UN food agency: 45 million people are on the edge of famine

The UN food agency says the world quarterly crisis has worsened in recent years due to the spread of the corona virus, global warming and desertification, floods affecting crops, and wars. Rising fuel prices are also making it difficult for food to be transported to remote, famine-stricken areas. Famine-stricken areas include countries such as Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen and Syria, Haiti, Angola and Kenya.
