Warning of looming water crisis by UN weather organization

Droughts and floods are likely to become worse due to climate change causing water stress by water shortages compounded by rising population. ‘The State of Climate Services 2021: Water’, a report by the World Meterological Organization of the United Nations and other scientific organisations warn that the population with insufficient access to water will increase from 3.6 billion in 2018 to 5 billion by 2050.
