A new species of giant sea isopod discovered

A new species of the deep sea giant isopod was discovered in the Gulf of Mexico. The species got the name Bathynomus Yucatanensis. DNA tests done on the giant isopod show that it is a distinct species, different from the isopods found on similar regions.
