New research shows a worrying prediction: even if we reduce emissions, the Arctics 2030 summer will be ice-free. The summer’s sea ice had been in significant decline for the past 40 years, and so far an equivalent size to India was lost. Many animals depending on the sea ice will lose their habitat.
