Elephants’ impact on the carbon cycle

New research found that elephants have an impact on the earth’s carbon cycle. Elephants prefer eating plants with a low carbon concentration which contributes to the growth of plants that store big amounts of carbon. The elephants also help spread the seeds of plants that store big amounts of carbon.
