Heatwaves in the Mediterranean killed many marine life in the past few years

A survey done by 30 researchers from 11 different countries around the Mediterranean showed the years 2015 – 2019 had the highest sea temperatures, causing the death of many marine life. More than 50 species of corals, sponges, algae, and mollusks were affected.
