Taurine is a nutrient our body produces and could be found in many foods. As we age, our body produces less Taurine. Studies at Columbia University showed supplemental Taurine in high doses can slow down the aging process in worms, mice and monkeys, and even extend mice’s lifespan by up to 12%.
