OECD report shows Israel is one of the most dangerous countries for the environment, out of all OECD developed countries, and is far from reaching the environmental goals it set for itself. Israel ranks last in protecting its mammals (60% of mammals in Israel are under threat of extinction), second from last in renewable energy use, 8% of green house gases emission came out of waste (5% more than most OECD countries) and the funding for landfill treatment is amongst the lowest budgets.
