A DNA test was done on over 45 pet food products. The test revealed that the meat in the food belongs to endangered shark species such as Blue shark, White Tip shark, Silky shark, and more. The label describes the ingredients as “fish”/ “ocean fish”/ “white meat”, and does not let the consumers know that are unknowingly contributing to the destructive shark fishing industry.
