The gulf of Eilat is the most efficient in absorbing greenhouse gases than any other sea in the world

New research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem showed that the biological pump in the gulf of Eilat works in the most efficient way, and absorbs greenhouse gases more than any other sea. The dust coming from the Sahara desert captures organic particles with it and sinks them to the bottom. This is despite the high temperatures of the sea which causes faster dissolving of the gasses instead of absorption.
