Marine protected areas boost tuna stocks

A vast marine protected area in the Pacific Ocean by Hawaii led to the recovery of the tuna population along with other migratory fish species. The reserve was created in 2006 and it is nearly four times the size of California. These findings raise the importance of having of 30% of marine protected areas by 2030.
