Silver-cheeked toadfish (Lagocephalus sceleratus) is a Lessepsian invade that came from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. New research found that the silver-cheeked toadfish’s present in the Mediterranean Sea helps keep other invaders out, while endemic fish numbers did not change due to its presence.
